ORDER PROCESSING

All orders are shipped are shipped within 10 business days after the order is received.

SHIPPING

CanadaOnly.ca ships your package direct from Canada to anywhere in the world. We use the most economical carrier to get your product to you in perfect condition. Whenever possible we use clean, recycled materials in shipping.

Unless overnight or express delivery is requested, all orders will be shipped by surface transport.

If you require your product by a specific day, please mention this when you order. We will then supply you with the shipping cost to get your order to you on the date required.

During the summer months or where chocolate or other products that may be affected by the heat are being shipped to warmer climates, overnight shipment to a facility that is air-conditioned or to an address where someone will be available during the day to receive it is recommended. Canada Only cannot accept responsibility for the quality of the product on arrival unless overnight shipping is requested.

Shipping costs are primarily based on weight. However, in some cases if the package exceeds certain dimensions established by the carrier, the cost will be based on package size and volume rather than weight. These volume charges occur mainly on items such as potato chips and lighter snacks.

While our shipping costs are normally accurate, we do reserve the right to advise of extra shipping costs that occur based on a combination of orders that require multiple shipments, excessive weight or volume charges. Additional charges may be necessary for Hawaii, Alaska and Mexico. We do not charge for excess shipping charges under $2.00.

For delivery within Canada, Canadian customers are encouraged to visit Canada Grocer for prices and shipping costs in Canadian dollars.

SHOPPING CART CALCULATIONS

Your total shipping cost will be displayed on the final page before you complete payment for your order. Only a $5.00 handling charge is included in your total until that time.

DELIVERY TIME

For delivery within North America, please allow up to 10 business days for standard surface delivery after the order is shipped. An automatic confirmation including a tracking number is sent when your order is shipped.

For International orders, there are no published delivery standards but surface shipments should be delivered with 5-7 weeks depending on the location.

For delivery within Canada, please allow up to 6 business days for standard surface delivery after the order is shipped. We will notify you by email when the order is shipped and, wherever possible, provide you with a tracking number.

Please note that we cannot be responsible for delays in shipping caused by situations not in our control such as Customs delays and other government inspections.

Items lost in transit will be replaced after we receive notification from the shipping agency that they cannot locate the shipment.

BEST BEFORE DATES

All snack items are Best Before dated with a very short date. Due to the variations in the length of shipping times, we cannot guarantee arrival before the Best Before date unless shipped by Xpress Shipping. Please advise us if you wish Xpress Shipping after you receive our order confirmation.

UNDELIVERABLE ORDERS

If an order is returned to us as undeliverable, it will be resent after the proper address is provided. If the original address provided with the order was incorrect, an additional shipping charge will apply to resend the items. If the order was sent and it was our error, we will reship the product at no additional cost.

MISSING ORDERS

If an order is not received, a claim will be placed with the shipping agency. After we receive confirmation from the shipping agency that the order has not been delivered, we will reship the order or issue a refund at your request.

DAMAGED ORDERS

We take great care in packaging your order. Once a shipment leaves our control, we have no control over the manner in which it is handled. For this reason, we are not responsible for damage resulting from the shipping process.

When products sold in glass containers (pickles, relishes etc.) are shipped, we wrap each item in bubble wrap and then pack them securely. In cases with large quantities of items, the glass items are shipped separately and an additional shipping charge may apply. Our shipping agent does NOT guarantee or insure items of glass or ceramics. For this reason we cannot replace items that are broken in shipment.

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS

The amount billed for shipping on your invoice is for standard surface shipping within North America. Additional costs for shipping to countries other than the U.S. and Canada will be billed through PayPal prior to shipping.

All International orders are shipped by Canada Post.

CANCELLATION

Your order my be cancelled at any time prior to shipping. Since we personally shop for your order, and some items are not returnable, we reserve the right to charge a re-stocking fee of up to 35%.

CUSTOM REGULATIONS

All packages are subject to random checks by custom officials of all countries. While this may in some cases cause a delay in the arrival of the shipment, we cannot be held responsible for any delays as a result of this.

Since import regulations vary for each country, please consult your customs office before placing your order. Your order must conform to the regulations of the destination country.

U.S. FOOD AND DRUG ADMINISTRATION BIO-TERRORISM ACT

The Bio Terrorism Act requires all exporters of food to the United States to provide the Food and Drug Administration with Prior Notice of all food shipments. We are registered with the FDA and this documention is submitted with all orders.

All orders may be opened and inspected at the discretion of the U.S. Customs officials. We cannot be held responsible for delays caused in this manner.
